Samuel St-Jean was born in 1988 in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. He received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Master's degree in Computer Science and Imaging from the University of Sherbrooke. During his Master's study at the Sherbrooke Connectivity Imaging Laboratory (SCIL) under supervision of Dr. Maxime Descoteaux, he worked on improving the quality of raw diffusion MRI datasets with denoising. In September 2015, he joined the PROVIDI Lab under the supervision of Dr. Alexander Leemans, where he will pursue the development of new and improved methods for the analysis of diffusion MRI.
